Ellen F. Monk has been teaching Information Systems at the Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware since 1989. If you're using this book, it's probably for a class. The MS Access portion of this book is good for instruction, terrible for assignments. They'll have you do a task that isn't described in the book.The MS Excel portion is not that way, it is very straightforward.Considering how Access is very niche of a portion of MS office, I really wanted to learn it, but the book made it unnecessarily difficult.
This book looks like it was punished and then thrown into the washing machine. I mean I guess you get what you pay for since it was only like 13 bucks but I cannot say I am happy with its ccondition, I'll be embarrased to bring it to class with me
