My son is 5, and loves it when I read him chapter books at night and he was so into this book! Its a cute story, with awesome illustrations. Highly recommend for early readers too.

This series of books is truly one of the best. My 5 and 7 year old get straight into the story, love the characters, examine the illustrations, and are not only engaged but find the reading level to be challenging and accessible. This is just one series in the Branches collection and each title brings its own charm and story. We love them and are certain you will too.

My son absolutely loves this book series. He received this book in the series for Christmas. We finally got a chance to read this book together. My son struggles in reading. If he is really interested in the book it seems to be easier for me to get him to help read.

These are great books to make my son want to read instead of video games. They are really cute and has more than four words on each page. I have been watching him read these and he will sit down and be occupied for a few hours with these books.

My 2nd grade son is in live with the notebook of doom series. This is the first time i have had him ask me to pre-order him a book and offered to give me money. He reads the books alone and outloud to his 5 year brother and myself. We are all loving the adventures of Alexander, Rip & Nikki. He devoured this book in about 3 hours. The 8th is already ordered. Thank you Troy Cummings for bringing these books to my sons!
